Gabe Cayton was born and raised in Northern California.

Cayton serves as Council Member at Large of the United Auburn Indian Community (UAIC) Tribal Council, a position he has held since January 2017. 

Cayton currently serves on the UAIC Development Corporation, the UAIC Feasibility Group, the Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas Management Group, and is a member of the Board of Directors of Thunder Valley Casino Reort.
